Domain Name Change Procedure Terms of Service
Before proceeding with your Domain Name Change request, please be aware of the following stipulations:
If you use webmail exclusively, all existing emails will be deleted from the mail server during the domain name change procedure. If you want to archive your email before it's deleted, please refrain from submitting your request until you've done so. Deleted emails cannot be recovered. We do not offer email services for sub-domains.
When we change the domain name on your shopping cart, we're unable to offer simultaneous registration services. If you don't already own rights to the name, you can attempt to purchase them through Hover. Please verify that you own the rights to your new domain name before you complete your domain name change request.
If you purchased a third-party SSL certificate for the current domain name from our website, we cannot offer a replacement. If you purchased it within the last 180 days, we can offer you a free Volusion SSL certificate for the new domain name (please include your request in the Comments field on the Domain Name Change request page). If you purchased it more than 180 days ago, you can obtain a replacement at your convenience on our website.
