Free shipping coupons

In Winter '09 and Version 5, you may now create Coupons / Discounts that give free shipping on an order. To do so, follow the below steps:

  • Go to Marketing > Coupons / Discounts > ADD.
  • Make sure the discount type is set to Free Shipping on entire order.
  • Select Add New.
Free shipping coupons work as follows: when a customer applies a free shipping coupon, the free shipping method is enabled, and set as the default shipping method. Customers still have the ability to pay for an expedited shipping method.
